EducationI have a master of science in biology and a PhD in clinical immunology, both from Linköping University. Work experienceA month after I had defended my PhD thesis our daughter was born and an additional few months later we all moved to Milton Keynes in the UK. After a year we moved back to Sweden and I started working as a post doc at Karolinska Institute. For the past five years I have worked as consultant at Amgen. I started as a clinical trial associate (CTA) and then moved on to work as a senior associate clinical contracts and budgets (SCBA). When an opening as project manager became available I applied and this is the position I have had during the past two years. I have managed clinical trials in all Nordic and Baltic countries and been involved in all stages from feasibility to close out. The main areas have been within inflammation, oncology and neurology.PersonalIn my spare time I like to exercise (mainly running) and work in the garden. Since I no longer do experiments in the laboratory I instead like to get creative in the kitchen with baking and cooking. About a year ago we took over my boyfriend’s old family farm and this is an ongoing, fun renovation adventure.I’m a positive and social person. I like challenges and I don’t see a problem as a negative thing but something that needs solving.
