Developed and executed culturally appropriate treatment plans for children with ASD, CAS, specific learning disability, developmental delay and articulation disorder. Utilized literacy-based therapy techniques and traditional therapy approaches to address targeted goals in pull-out or push-in sessions. Assessed and documented progress following individualized education plans (IEP).

Screened, created and implemented treatment to target pre-literacy skills (phonemic awareness) and articulation in a summer program affiliated with the Loyola Clinical Centers. Provided therapy to children in groups of 2-3 children with multiple diagnoses, differing goals, in an engaging and entertaining way.

Responsible for creating and implementing functional treatment plans for adult clients with various neurologic disorders and a pediatric client with a voice disorder. Utilized evidence based practices to treat individuals diagnosed with Vocal Cord Dysfunction, Parkinson’s disease, aphasia and apraxia of speech. Collaborated with supervisors, co-clinicians and clients to provide education and facilitated an aphasia group.

Responsible for creating and implementing intervention for pediatric clients with Down syndrome, Intellectual Disability, Mixed Expressive/Receptive language deficits and Articulation Disorder.
