Answered the phone and replied to e-mails from global scientists who had questions about Promega products or needed help with an experiment. Prepared shotgun libraries of bacterial genomes (e.g., E. coli O157:H7) for sequencing, helped troubleshoot any problems with cloning or PCR, and created new protocols for shotgun cloning of genomic libraries in plasmid vectors for better sequencing coverage.
