Sara Weed is Co-Chair of the Global Fintech and Digital Assets Practice at Gibson Dunn. She counsels technology companies and financial services incumbents in connection with product development, transactional, supervisory and enforcement matters. She previously served as Director and Counsel of the Non-Depository Entities Division of the North Carolina Office of the Commissioner of Banks (NCCOB), where she specialized in non-bank financial regulation. Prior to joining NCCOB, she was Operations Advisory In-House Counsel within IBM’s Financial Services Group.
