I supported in the organization’s summer enrichment program for youth to minimize the impact of the summer developmental slide. In collaboration with my team, I organized activities that were engaging, educational, and fun for youth throughout the summer with the Morton Homes community. Some activities include: practice building reading and writing skills, opportunities to be creative through the arts, and outdoor activities to stay active throughout the summer.

I supported programs and services housed within student government with advocacy and outreach. I collaborated with programs and services and cultural resource centers to increase the visibility of resources to students. I facilitated communication between programs and services and all other branches of student government including the student-body senators, student body president, and student body executive vice president. I worked especially towards reforming the role of the Administrative Vice President to be much closer and approachable to students across campus. I focused more closely on policies impacting students and involved student leaders from programs and services to help navigate student government’s advocacy of students on campus.
