I love gathering information and putting it all together to see how it affects us and how we can use it to progress. I studied history to see how this happened throughout the whole world, and as a data analyst I am fascinated to see how data comes together to create the story of an organization. I was lucky growing up. My family traveled extensively over Europe, Canada and the United States, and we lived in England and Wales while my father was a visiting professor at several universities. My mother took us to every historical site and museum around. She must have been so tired! (P.S. There were nine kids in my family...)Understanding how all these places and historical events tied together and formed our world fascinated me. It created a love of learning and a passion for seeing how all the parts combine to show us the big picture. This idea is the fundamental basis for data analysis as well. I'm excited for the chance to move fully into the field of data analytics and apply this mindset. Using the power of information to improve our lives is the goal of analytics and I can't wait to see where it takes us next!
