I am a recent graduate with an extensive academic focus in social sciences and cultural relations. Previousinvolvement with the McNair Scholars program has added to an existing familiarity with academic research and bolstered my own sense of self-initiative. Furthermore, as an individual with +7yrs experience in the workforce, particularly as a recruiter and a customer service specialist, previous positions have cultivated excellent communication and interpersonal skillsets. I have an unrelenting "get-up-and-go" attitude when it comes to developing new skills and in expanding upon new and unfamiliar spheres of interest. With that in mind, I'm pursuing opportunities that are able to utilize my background in order to have a direct impact on the community
