I'm enthusiastic about assisting children in reaching their full potential, ensuring fair access to higher education, and raising mental health awareness, particularly among marginalized students. My goal is to assist students, families, and educators to grasp each child's unique profile of learning strengths and weaknesses, as well as to promote student socio-emotional wellbeing and access to therapeutic supports using an integrated framework of trauma informed care and family systems therapy. I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist with a Master's Degree in School Psychology from Adelphi University, with state certifications in California and New York. Across my professional experiences, I have taken on many roles, including evaluation and assessment, intervention, teletherapy counseling, testing, collaboration and consultation, crisis intervention, and systems-level work. I have experience in both urban and suburban school settings, particularly at the secondary level. In addition, I have been a classroom aide and have worked with students in general and special education classrooms at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Furthermore, I have extensive experience working with students on the autism spectrum. My work in the Cognitive Neurophysiology Laboratory at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine has provided me with a solid foundation in evidence-based interventions for those students and a wealth of knowledge regarding the practical uses of applied behavior analysis.
