Championed a new I.T system requirement within the HS2 Supply chain.Capturing the initial requirements for a new Dynamic 365 system.I was required to incorporate several separate processes into one single CRM type system. Material Flow Analyst: Ensuring the correct parts are available to the build plan in the warehouse.Contact suppliers across Europe for urgent build plan changes and ensuring they arrive to plant in time to avoid line stoppages. Create recovery plans to ensure suppliers meet minimum requirements. hold daily calls with suppliers to discussany risks or upcoming concerns. Arrange special transport where required to collect parts that are urgently required. Ensure Correct paperwork is completed for customs. Attend start of shift meetings to raise any concerns. Work with the Scheduling team to ensure we can meet the demand and build plan proposed.Ensure launch parts are ready for trial builds.Ensure a balance of parts within the warehouse.Book unloading slots for Deliveries to ensure vehicles are offloaded on time and effectively to avoid delays.Create dashboards to present end of week build results to higher managementand present forecasts on upcoming build, parts and packaging availability.Ensure exported engines are checked and packed correct to shipping regulationsand that correct packaging is used to avoid any damaged when at sea.
