My journey at Starbucks started quite abruptly. A quick coffee run one day turned into an on-the-spot interview, which led me straight into a part-time job as a barista at Starbucks. As I finished high school, Starbucks proved to be the ideal job in many ways- job experience, professional mentorship, income, and even friendship. Very quickly what started as a temporary job, became something I developed a great passion for and a part of who I was. I found myself amazed by the genuine connections constantly made within the four walls of a Starbucks- connections that went beyond my coworkers and crossed over even to our “regulars”; I fell in love with the culture and entire experience, and three years after becoming a barista, at 18, I applied to be a Shift Supervisor. I’m now almost two years into this role and I know Starbucks is where I belong! I am committed and more passionate than ever about my lifelong journey with this incredible company. I am passionate about the work I do alongside Starbucks to deliver on our mission- with every cup, with every conversation, and within every community to nurture the limitless possibilities of human connection.
