Institutional Donors Officer
• Part of the International Donors Unit, with special focus on EU Donors (ECHO and INTPA) and UNICEF.• Support with all international donors’ proposal writing, project management and reporting. • Carrying out of training for field offices on donor related issues and topics (donor engagement, compliance, project management). • Development of tools and manuals for better knowledge sharing, analysis and collaboration between HQ and field staff. o Gender mainstreaming in ECHO Actions• In charge of all coordination and collaboration mechanisms between Save the Children members related to account management. • Special interest in gender-related issues, focus on gender-mainstreaming tools in EU proposals and needs assessments. • Great knowledge in child-centred project development and implementation. • Resolved cultural, staffing & business integration issues associated with a Chinese acquisition involving a multi-month Beijing assignment.• Responsible for global organization with 14 facilities in the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Malaysia & China.• Established an outsourcing program resulting in 75%+ reduction in cost and delivery of prototypes.• Established an internal professional "social network" to enable sharing of expertise, best practices, production methodologies, testing procedures & product/module designs.• Established a diviision-wide database for publications, standards methodologies and designs, assuring common processes, & eliminating duplicate activities across geographically-dispersed locations.• Implemented an organization-wide efficiency improvement program, reducing the number of unique design & NPI tools by over 40% while maintaining schedules.• Established standards for solder mask colors for state of PCBAs (POC, Prototype, Pilot, LPA, & Production), preventing accidental release of non-compliant product into a customer environment while providing clear indication of state of product development.
