Student of metallurgical engineering at The University of Alabama. Since my freshman year, I've been very involved in MTE department activities, leading UA's first ever Cast and Steel team to the Cast in Steel 2022 competition hosted by Steel Founders' Society of America (SFSA). I have gained leadership experience through MA/AFS as well, serving as competition officer and later vice president. I also spend significant time in the UA campus foundry, where I work with sand and investment casting, forging, and power tools. This summer I have been working an internship with Scot Forge, improving my skills in mechanical and metallographic testing, as well as learning more about manufacturing and industry.
