I am Project Manager, and specialist technician in RemAb Therapeutics (https://remabtx.com/).I got my Industrial Ph.D. in Immunology (RemAb Therapeutics-Universitat de Barcelona) in July 2022, I hold an MSc in Advanced Microbiology (Sanitary Speciality) and have previously worked as a technician at IDIBELL and the pre-clinical CRO Envigo, both based in Barcelona.As a researcher, my expertise is linked to the role that natural antibodies (humoral immunity) play in the development of nosocomial infections and other autoimmune pathologies. However, I am also responsible to give support and monitor the studies performed at the CROs for the bioanalytical method optimizations and validations (ICH M10, GLP compliance) during the pre-clinical and clinical stages of our main compound, RA0127.My technical work is based on the identification and validation of antibodies using various techniques, including glycan arrays, ELISA, western blot, FACS and the development of animal models (mice). The time I spent at Envigo allowed me to develop and validate analytical methods in a GLP environment. Also, the equipment's qualification, the safe handling of biological samples and animal models reinforced my experience.In RemAb Therapeutics, I learned how to set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize the progress of different projects as well as to prepare reports for upper management regarding their status. I also design experiments and projects and manage with budgets.I like scientific communication as well!
