Interested in joining an organisation where I can utilise and share my experiences as a former Community Officer, Team Lead and where I can expand my knowledge of project management. I am detail-orientated, observant, creative, poised, and resourceful. I excel in crafting innovative approaches to optimise services and processes and sharing these with my immediate team.Being bilingual and tricultural, I thrive in diverse environments where I can engage in meaningful conversations and foster genuine bonds. This ability to maintain palpable and empathetic human connections through language is what strings together my professional story. I started my relationship with language by teaching Spanish at a secondary school. I led dynamic lessons and activities rooted in real-life contexts to create an environment of active engagement. Juggling teaching responsibilities and professional development, I improved my skills in time management, multitasking and adaptability. I then delved into interpretation and translation at Latin American House, assisting Latin American service users in understanding their potential immigration pathways within the UK. By bridging the language gap between immigration lawyers and clients, and engaging with various departments, I practised cross-cultural communication and fostered collaborative coordination. In my role as a Community Officer at SOMOS, my primary focus was on cultivating partnerships with other organisations capable of offering services or products to our users. This experience allowed me to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and grow my professional network. Advancing within the company, I assumed the role of Team Lead. I oversaw task management, team dynamics, and conducted research to better understand our user base. By monitoring team progress and contributing towards projects aimed at enhancing user satisfaction, I refined my leadership and process improvement skills.
