Founded company focused on automated testing of low light equipment. Acquired government contract for assessment, recalibration and upgrade of testing systems in May 2019. Worked with DOD to calibrate and upgrade automated night vision testing systems. Customer delivery of systems, followed by ongoing customer support, system recalibration, and upgrades as necessary.

Provided technical, customer discovery, and program support for real-time Millimeter Wave Imaging System. Brought in over two million dollars in federal and state funding, supported commercial funding campaign bringing in over one million dollars in commercial funding.Program manager for SBIR Phase II National Science Foundation Phase II.• Co-developed technical volume and prepared financial volume. • Integrated research, production and product testing of thin, flexible solar cells for this pre-IPO start-up company. • Maintained and upgraded zinc oxide (ZnO) deposition system and Laser Scribing systems including mechanical fabrication, electrical wiring and processing changes. • Developed methods for improving solar cell and manufacturing efficiency, increasing the through-put of these two systems.

• Conducted x-ray diffraction experiments of single crystals at low temperatures including design and machining of positioning stage. • Laue photography, microscopy and powder diffraction analysis for pre-experiment sample characterization. • Taught four semesters of physics classes and physics laboratories.

• Studied effects of turbulence on mixing in low-density jet by using Schlieren photography. • Experimented to increase laminar flow or increase turbulence and measured the resultant effects on gasses exiting jet nozzle.
