Executive Director and founder of Kaleidoscope Speakers Bureau and Voices of Recovery of Maine,author, mental health public speaker, and mental health advocate. A member of the Maine Behavioral Healthcare Services Advisory Committee and the Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence in Autism & Developmental Disorders Advisory Committee. As a person with a lived experience of schizoaffective disorder I know what it feels like to have symptoms at age 16 and to feel like I had to hide it from everyone instead of getting help early. This has motivated me to be an active member of change for children in particular by being part of the creation of more healthy schools. Through storytelling, I hope to reach as many demographics as possible to educate especially children, break down stigma, and stop people from feeling alone. I am currently completing a Masters degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology with a goal of getting a Psy. D. in School Psychology. I am always easy to spot wherever I go because I travel everywhere with my service dog companion named Liam who is a 6 pound chihuahua.
