Sells company's products and services by developing new clients and increasing the client base to increase profits in the Paychex National PEO Services Sales organization. Presents PEO products and services to final decision-makers and end users within the prospect universe to increase sales and profits. Sells PEO products remotely in order to service prospect country wide. Partners with local HR Solutions Sales Reps to present to and on-board PEO clients. Acts as the point person for the prospect/client from the proposal meeting until their orientation to ensure policies and procedures are followed and to ensure a smooth transition onto the PEO service. Attends Zone and district meetings to represent the PEO and National PEO Sales, to ensure the division’s needs are being met and their goals are in alignment with the company. Conducts trainings for Sales Reps/District Sales Managers (DSMs)/Zone managers to ensure the information is presented in a consistent and accurate manner and to ensure they are keep informed of changes in the PEO industry. Acts as a resource for Sales Reps/DSMs/Zone Managers to provide consistent and accurate information. Partners with the National Human Resource Consultant to help keep the Paychex HR Solutions community aware of new business and to work together throughout the on-boarding process to ensure the transition occurs smoothly. Analyzes the prospects’ needs and interests, determining which products are appropriate in order to refer them to the appropriate party when necessary. Expedites the resolution of client problems or complaints to ensure client satisfaction and that issues are handled properly. Completes and submits accurate new business paperwork, expense reports and weekly activity reports by agreed upon dates set by Sales management to ensure information is provided timely. Develops technical, competitive, and sales skills knowledge to ensure the company is a leader in the market place.

Acts as the primary point of contact and responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the most complex, high-profile clients. Acts as the key advocate from pre-sale through on-going service. Assumes responsibility for client deliverables and drives the business results for assigned clients. Maintains regular contact with the client to build strong relationships and generate value for the client. Meets with the decision makers to assess services provided by Paychex, Inc. Partners with sales, internal departments and operations to ensure client satisfaction. Positions the appropriate management and executive Paychex staff with key stakeholders at the assigned clients business.

Provides technical and customer service expertise when dealing in the resolution of problems related to client concerns and/or escalated client issues. Practices the ability to supervise, delegate, direct, and teach/mentor a team of Implementation Specialists specializing in both PEO Payroll and PEO Health & Benefits. Evaluates employee performance through the completion of effective performance reviews, monthly one-on-ones, disciplinary methods, and proper documentation practices. Develops employees by keeping in tune with employee goals, development plans, team morale, succession planning, and the setting of individual expectations. Active involvement in the recruiting process by way of interviewing possible candidates for the implementation role. Makes hiring recommendations and decisions after the interview process. Builds strong relationships through effective verbal and written communication techniques with multiple Paychex business units including: Sales, Human Resources Services, Medical Underwriting, Workers Compensation, Payroll, and various Paychex ancillary areas (General Ledger, Time & Labor, S125, 401k, Compliance).

Possesses a strong grasp of all payroll information, adjustment information, tax information, and multi-state information. Responsible for on-boarding new clients while practicing the key components of quality customer service and a strong sense of urgency. Practices the ability to enter, edit, and verify a new client load, and to determine acceptable documentation for entering a new load. Has seasoned knowledge of PEO products and their set-up procedures, retirement plans and fringe benefits, all new load procedures, company deadlines, and PEO defined and client defined earnings descriptions. Cross-trained in the role of the Health & Benefits Implementation Specialist and in the HRIS (Health & Benefits) system. Trainer for Ongoing Branch Training sessions and PEO Payroll Implementation Training, while being an active member of the Branch Training Team. Builds strong relationships with Human Resource Generalists and Sales Partners in order to act as a liaison between operations and the field for a smooth transition for new clients. Provides a positive and helpful image to new clients when making the “welcome call” and processing their first payroll.

Responsible for processing payroll for 150+ clients while practicing the key components of quality customer service. Accountable for maintaining regular communication and contact with clients in regards to tax issues, payroll calculations, questions, concerns, and resolution of problems. In command of contacting clients on a daily basis to meet the deadlines of a payroll appointment schedule. Passed and obtained Senior Level Payroll Specialist Certification. Participates in the administration of branch training sessions. Highly skilled in all aspects of processing payroll and various mediums of payroll reporting.
