About Sara Porter

I lead Sales & Pricing Performance for Accenture, reporting to our Chief Sales Officer. This is the first ever, Global Sales & Pricing Strategy, Enablement, and Operations function at Accenture. It brings together ~3K professionals specialized in Sales Effectiveness, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, Pricing, Competitive Intelligence, Bid Management and Proposal Services to enable Accenture to compete, win, and grow. I am fiercely proud to be a part of Accenture’s internal Sales Transformation story. From playing a key role in the selection, design, and deployment of Accenture’s Manage mySales platform, built on salesforce.com, to defining the Accenture Selling Methodology, to now bringing the people together in a unified, professionalized function. S&PP is leading edge with a proven ROI, and we are just getting started. Prior to my move into the internal world of Corporate Accenture, I was in Accenture’s Management Consulting organization based in Washington DC for six years and New York City for three years. During the earlier part of my career, I designed and deployed customer service, sales, and large-scale supply chain systems. When I graduated from college, I never heard of "CRM." However, Customer Relationship Management was something that I learned, became part of every project I did, and something I became known for. It has turned into a true passion. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond. Go Spiders! I live in Washington DC with my husband, Jeff, and two children.
