Over the years, I've shared parts of our family's story as it relates to faith and disability, and I have presented on grief and storytelling. I have spoken to and have a passion to share with corporate and government audiences, as well as families, service providers, and educators. I desire to advocate for the community model of disability, encourage greater community involvement, and promote the inclusive vision of belonging. I appreciate and value different approaches and points of view - and believe in developing a growth mindset. And while I'm being transparent here, I should add that I ran away from home at the age of 4 to find the public library... in the city of Ottawa. I was eventually found. End of story.
