Authored and edited articles and photos for the local Life in Broadmoor Magazine, run by N2 Publishing (now Stroll Magazine); interviewed individuals; assisted with group events; participated in group discussions regarding content.

Founded and expanded successful business; designed and sold high-end window coverings and bedding to residential and commercial clients; trained and developed employees; sold the business in 2017, but worked as a subcontractor for another year.

Organized large and small-scale programs and events to support families of soldiers (deployed to combat) in US Army’s elite 10th Special Forces Group, on and off again, from the team level to the battalion; supported and counseled spouses during deployments; received leadership, grief and trauma training; met often with other FRG leaders to offer support and mentoring; successfully managed FRG budget.

Shared personal conviction of Christ while living in various towns throughout the country; taught and befriended many Uruguayan families; learned Spanish fluently; successfully trained and mentored several other missionaries.
