In this position, I write engaging scripts for on hold marking across a range of industries. I work with demos to entice potential clients and briefs from current clients – researching their brand to match and elevate their tone of voice through writing. I constantly collaborate with my peers through proofreading and editing each other’s work, and work across time zones with our UK team to help develop our abilities as a team. I also actively collaborate with the production and sales team to meet and exceed client expectations.Being one of the three PHMG copywriters in Australia, I’m required to work independently from managers, and use my executive decision making to solve issues as they occur.I also have been actively working with AI to develop our capabilities and understand how changing technologies can assist our processes.

In this position, I was put in charge of developing articles for ReciMe's blog to increase website and app engagement. This included but was not limited to researching and developing high quality content for ReciMe's blog and emails, managing the content calendar to keep up with timely delivery of content pieces, understanding SEO practices to create content that would attract and engage current and new audiences and reviewing and editing content for consistency and accuracy. I consistently collaborated with my supervisor to develop ideas to increase user engagement and retention, assuring that my content would be stylized for ReciMe.

My experience at LivewireAu has allowed me to explore the music industry through my work as a music writer. My experiences ranged from reviewing the latest releases, or even unreleased music, reviewing live gigs, conducting interviews with artists, and delving into research on the latest events occurring in music. In this position, I was also able to diversitfy my experinc in the industry, from creating set designs, taking photos, and editing the RAW files for press shoots, as well as utilising link based algorithms such as LinkInBio to improve the audience reach and accessibility of LivewireAU website content. My experience allowed me to connect with like-minded individuals in a creative space, developing my industry contacts. My responsibilities during my internship included:- Creating written content for the LivewireAU Website, which includes reviews, interviews and statement articles.- Managing the LivewireAU Triple J Unearthed page- Updating the LinkInBio for the LivewireAU Instagram - Maintaining journalistic integrity (including involvement with unreleased albums and press releases.)- Set up and the editing of press shoots for artists
