I lead the development of innovative, insight-driven products and services that support Integrated Care Systems in achieving greater integration and delivering value through the Triple Aim of better health and wellbeing outcomes, higher quality services, and sustainable use of resources, with an added focus on economic and social value.Key Responsibilities:1. Develop new value-based support services to meet partner needs, including:- Enhancing Provider Collaboratives with new governance and operating models- Achieving financial efficiencies in corporate services- Redesigning clinical services, pathways, and networks- Integrating workforce, finance, and capacity planning- Driving digital transformation and data integration- Ensuring citizen-centered service redesign through communication and engagement- Establishing assurance frameworks for ICBs to improve outcomes, address inequalities, and maximise value- Fostering organizational and leadership development with a focus on value-based healthcare, including clinical stewardship training

NHS Arden & GEM’s Healthcare Solutions division provide specialist consultancy and advisory services and expertise for the NHS, by the NHS.As a Senior Managing Consultant in Healthcare Solution’s Leadership and OD team, I was responsible for leading business development and growth, as well as key customer work in our priority areas:• Designing and implementing new system operating models for strategic planning and system integration including place-based models of delivery• Implementing population health management approaches across whole systems including population segmentation, the development of outcome frameworks and the development of new outcomes-based and value-based contracting mechanism• Board and leadership governance reviews including Well-Led reviews• Board and Executive level leadership development programmes• Solutions for System and Organisational development including strategy development and culture change• Solutions to support NHS organisations’ legal duty to deliver the Triple Aim of better outcomes, quality of care and use of NHS resources• Working with our 'Effective Leadership Solutions' team, comprised of individuals with experience gained at CEO and Board level in both NHS provider and commissioning organisations as well as across systems and for Regional and National teams. The team provides peer-to-peer support for creating and leading an effective ICS

BDO’s Healthcare Advisory team worked with providers and commissioners across healthcare systems to provide advisory services and deliver projects relating to system transformation, strategy and planning and performance improvement. I led key programmes of work that included:• Population Health Management - I played a key role in advising and developing the team’s strategy to secure projects relating to PHM, development of new models of locality based care, whole system leadership alignment and commissioning for outcomes• Organisational Development and Culture Diagnostic Review - for a large recently formed CCG producing a ‘current state’ report and recommendations for on-going OD relating to leadership, staff engagement, governance and culture• Primary Care Locality Based Development – forming a 5 year strategy for practice sustainability and new models of care for a large city wide GP Confederation• Cost Improvement Program Review - at an Acute Trust including recommendations for improvements in controlling agency staff spend, standardising procurement, and remodelling planned care activity. From this I secured sell on work to deliver:• Improved Outpatient Service Productivity - at an Acute Trust through improved job planning, developing service managers to use a coaching approach to service improvement, increasing clinic utilisation and developing a forward view activity vs plan dashboard

I managed partnerships with tertiary, secondary, primary and community health organisations, CCGs, STPs and Alliances across North West London, with a focus on designing and delivering system wide improvements in managing demand, access to and delivery of specialist services for people with cancer and at the end of life.

Working in partnership NHS providers as well as national organisations including NHS England and Public Health England to translate current evidence and research in Early Diagnosis into new tools, pathways and services, as well as inform policy development, with the aim of improving the cancer early diagnosis outcomes.

Identifying and undertaking transformational pathway improvement work at all stages, for all Cancer sites.Modernising Outpatient and Inpatient Oncology and Haematology services.Project management of a £1.2million, charity-funded, redevelopment of the Oncology and Haematology Outpatient and Inpatient Unit, including major building work and repatriation of services from English healthcare providers.Line management and budgetary management of two administrative teams.Operational management responsibility for Oncology, Haematology and Palliative Care services and health care professionals. Responsibility for the delivery of the Cancer Waiting Time Target for all Cancer pathways.

Collaborative working with a range of Healthcare Professionals to develop, implement, monitor and maintain Service Improvement programs and initiatives in particular within various planned care patient pathways.Developing and delivering training to NHS Wales staff on Quality Improvement tools, techniques and their practical application within their teams.
