• Restored state healthcare program and funding for the poorest and sickest Minnesotans, by organizing an informal coalition that included anti-poverty, faith, legal, health, and labor organizations to persuade the MN Legislature to overturn budget cuts, which laid the groundwork for Medicaid expansion. • Secured key legislation increasing on-the-job protections for window cleaners, requiring commercial property owners to ensure basic safety equipment, building infrastructure, and policies were in place. • Organized environmental and elected leaders to join janitorial contract campaign, Good Jobs, Green Future, which secured health and wage benefits for workers, and built momentum for industry shifts to daytime cleaning, recycling, and use of non-toxic cleaning products.

• Secured several legislative wins including the strongest renewable electricity standard at time of passage, funding for restoration of lakes and rivers, and producer-responsibly electronics recycling.• Led lobbying strategy for Healthy Legacy coalition on key toxic chemical policy reform policy including eliminating toxic chemicals in products for children. • Helped elect over 40 environmental champions to the Minnesota Legislature between 2004-2006, leading to key shifts in the political landscape that made significant policy wins possible.• Organized the establishment of the Minnesota Voter Project (MVP) coalition dramatically increasing partnership between progressive organizations on legislative elections, which led to wins in 15 of 17 swing legislative races between 2004 and 2008.
