I am a Huntsville native and long time resident of Huntsville and Madison County. I am a former public, private, and homeschool teacher. After 20 plus years of serving families in Madison County as a teacher, I now help people as a real estate agent, but with the heart of a teacher. I also have the heart of a parent. My husband and I have 3 daughters. We recently had the pleasure of seeing our oldest daughter and her husband purchase their first home. Resigned from this position to stay at home with my 2 preschool children.Taught in a self-contained 4th grade classroom.Planned and implemented a Learn and Serve grant with fourth grade students. Guided student’s research of local history. Assigned students to work on expert teams. Coordinated field trips related to New Hope’s history and to the student’s area of expertise. Directed students as they developed a video tape about the history of New Hope. Taught students to use Hyperstudio to prepare 5 software programs about local history.Worked on staff support team to determine student and teacher needs to provide solutions to meet the needs.Coordinated the Africian American Cultural Awareness Project for New Hope School.Developed a hands-on energy kit for the Huntsville Alliance for Science Project, (H.A.S.P.) for use in all fourth grade classrooms in Madison County and Huntsville City schools.Awarded a stipend to study Alabama History with Dr. Robert J.
