Sara Williams is a People & Culture Coordinator at Save the Redwoods League. She possess expertise in emotional intelligence, team player, analytical skills, self motivated, critical thinking and 2 more skills. Colleagues describe her as "Hard working and creative are the phrases that come to mind when I think of Sara. She served as an AIFS Alumni Ambassador for the 2020-21 academic year at West Chester University and was a resource for students to learn more about the benefits of studying abroad and the specifics of AIFS Study Abroad programs. Sara went above and beyond the 80-hr. requirement of the program and completed an additional 28 hours of outreach, while balancing her schoolwork and other campus commitments.
Sara collaborated with a fellow Alumni Ambassador to create a new podcast to provide insights and resources to prospective students considering studying abroad. She worked to develop outlines and scripts, organized recording sessions, and edited each episode. Sara also engaged with interested students to inform and bolster interest in study abroad and was able to ensure her peers were supported as they underwent the study abroad application process.
Throughout the program Sara was able to further develop her time management and communication skills while working remotely with limited supervision. She completed all the requirements of the program, including attending monthly professional development meetings, and built relationships with me, her study abroad office staff, her AIFS Field Staff member, and peers in the program. I have greatly enjoyed working with Sara, know she would be an asset to any employer, and am happy to recommend her for any future endeavors she chooses to pursue.
