A deeply passionate change-maker who has dedicated over ten years to influencing innovative, inclusive and pragmatic change to models, services, programs and policies as part of promoting better health, wellbeing and social outcomes for Australians. Sara is driven by a passion and curiosity to understand and tackle complex and wicked social problems through taking a highly inclusive, collaborative and equitable approach to co-designing solutions that meets the needs and experiences of all. Sara has extensive experience in growing and leading large, diverse and high-performing teams across a range of sectors and organisations, including public sector management consulting, research, academia and government. As a result, Sara has a deep understanding of government systems and processes, strong practical knowledge and experience in commercial and business development needs and an ability to engage with and influence a diversity of stakeholders including policy makers, service providers and communities. Areas of experience include strategy and policy development and implementation, human-centred design, systems design and management, change management, stakeholder engagement, transformation, research and evaluation (implementation, outcome, and systems), inter-government relations and budget and project management. Sara has a demonstrated commitment to fostering creativity, innovation and inclusivity throughout her work. This includes addressing complex strategic problems, challenging the status quo, providing frank and quality evidence-based insights and advice that considers key trends, issues and opportunities and develop high impact process improvement initiatives to drive improved performance and outcomes. In her spare time, Sara volunteers as a Health Promotion Officer with Ending Loneliness Together, where she is exploring topics of social, family and community connection and wellbeing, taking an evidence-based approach to analysing key risk and protective factors relating to social and community building and belonging
