In the past three years I've organize and promoted the Copenhagen Bike Festival, a yearly event that celebrates the cycling culture and lifestyle in the Danish capital. I work with our tiny team, sponsors, and partners to create a memorable and engaging experience for thousands of participants and visitors, while also raising awareness and funds for cycling-related causes and initiatives.I am also a passionate and curious student of Nordic Urban Planning, pursuing a dual Master degree at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway and Roskilde University. My academic interests include everyday mobilities, public policies, green cities, and regional planning for cycling tourism. I have gained valuable knowledge and skills in these areas through coursework, and projects, such as the state of public art in the city of Tromso and Arctic urban development with a special focus on impacts on environment and indigeonous populations. My final thesis focused on potentials and barriers of the development of EuroVelo1 in the Arctic region of Tromso and Finnmark. My love for cycling started when I was four and has never faded since then. I use my bike every day for commuting, studying, and leisure, and I have also traveled and worked in different countries and contexts using my bike as a tool for exploration, empowerment, and social change. I speak fluently five languages (Italian, Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese) and I have a diverse and rich professional background, ranging from technical sales to public relations to NGO work. I am always eager to learn new things, meet new people, and contribute to a kinder and more bike-friendly world.
