•Preparing detailed design of transportation projects highways, roads, and freeways in both rural and urban setting. •Responsible for providing technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians. •Undertake roadside safety analysis, geometric design, drainage design and quantity calculations. •Perform the tasks of preparing contract drawings and specifications for tendering .•Prepare estimation of working dates and construction cost .•Responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex highway projects. •Handle the tasks of developing design concepts on roadway geometric, diversions and grading. •Prepare reports on the progress and status of the project and update the same to the construction management team. •Handle full responsibilities of writing reports, developing plans, specifications and preparing project cost estimates. •Provide guidance and advice on technical issues that arise during the execution of projects. •Responsible for the designs / tender documents prepared in the local transportation group.•Developed strategies that would improve the road system and made it more cost effective.•Ensured that all the work done on the highway were in accordance to the standards and regulations.•Developed and presented the presentations to the client and answered all their queries.•Conducted Quality Assurance checks on the data and ensured that they were in accordance with client requirement.
