-Co-designed a personalized learning management system (IMPACT) that teaches elementary and middle aged students how to code in blocks and JavaScript using Microsoft’s MakeCode Arcade platform-Created 40 levels of curriculum aligned with the CSTA standards designed to develop students’ creativity and computational thinking skills through both guided instruction and open-ended projects-Collaborated with stakeholders including education team members, the software development team, Microsoft MakeCode, and system franchisees to facilitate alignment of goals and meet regular project milestones-Developed system-wide training to support franchisees, center directors, and instructors in implementing programming-Managed several part-time content contributors for curriculum update and summer camp content projects

-Analyzed professional standards to identify connections to pre-service educator family engagement competencies-Recruited pre-service educators and facilitated an online learning community to support family engagement learning-Planned and executed monthly events and webinars to provide pre-service educators with opportunities to gain skills, knowledge, and connections to build their capacity to effectively engage families

-Authored new and revised existing CLC guidebooks by designing engaging, hands-on activities that align with grade level curricular standards, to support Nauset Public Schools’ teachers-Facilitated Nauset district-wide professional development workshops to introduce creative learning strategies-Supported K-5 Nauset teachers in their implementation of the CLC guidebooks through regular coaching sessions -Co-developed at-home creative learning activities for teachers and students during COVID-19 remote learning-Developed a case study to report findings of impact of creative learning on teachers and students

"Getting Unstuck" Project at the Creative Computing Lab-Co-designed the Getting Unstuck Educative Curricular Materials (ECMs), an intermediate coding materials using the Scratch programming language for students in grades four to six-Collaborated with designer teachers to create effective educator guides to support students’ creative and conceptual fluencies-Facilitated a pilot study of six teachers implementing the Getting Unstuck curriculum-Analyzed learning from the implementation of the materials and revised the curriculum to reflect new insights

The Dean’s Education Fellows program was created to address remote learning challenges that large, urban districts have faced as a result of COVID-19.In this role, I am supporting Cambridge Public Schools in their efforts to create consistent instructional plans across the district’s schools by: creating curriculum materials, developing guidance for synchronous and asynchronous instruction and technology, and designing family-facing instructional guides. I will also be collecting insight to inform differentiated learning opportunities for educators in the district.
