Oversee portfolio of six Relay For Life events in North Dakota. Manage recruitment and training of volunteer committee, secure sponsors, implement event marketing strategy, recruit teams and survivors, and oversee the implementation of the event. Work with communities and donors to educate and raise awareness of ACS programs, mission, and cancer prevention tools. Responsible for ensuring each event reaches its fundraising, team, participant, survivor, and sponsorship goals.

Connected individuals to meaningful volunteer opportunities and provided services for non-profit organizations who utilize volunteers. Opened and managed staff at 4 offices across North Dakota. Coordinated a national disaster preparedness program and started the teen version of it in the local schools. Oversaw the volunteer coordination efforts during the Red River Valley floods in 2009 and 2010. Engaged in activities such as grant writing, budget management, event planning, public speaking, and marketing.
