Leading planning, vision, monitoring and evaluation systems for international educational programme teams and government agencies across 27 countries.Achievements include:• Aligned a diverse portfolio of 24 projects through developing impact measurement systems, resulting in more sustainable, systemic outcomes tailored to the needs of target groups.• Convened and facilitated workshops, trainings and seminars of over 400 participants over 12 months that contributed to an increase in successful project applications and quality.

Assessing exchanges and partnership project applications across all formal and non-formal education sectors for the Welsh international exchange and partnership funding programme, Taith.Achievements include:• Detailed reporting and feedback within strict deadlines, collaboration with secondary assessors and representation of award decisions to grant Committee of Government and Programme stakeholders• Qualitative analysis and feedback to applicant and government audiences, improving funding outcomes and continuous improvement of an evolving programme.

In this senior leadership role, I led a programme section, managing a €1m annual budget. Leading both internal teams and external partners, I optimised workloads, established stakeholder groups for effective communication, and oversaw a training strategy encompassing 60 projects annually across three programme streams. Through negotiation and collaboration, I ensured high-quality project delivery, meeting funding targets, and adapting to environmental changes such as Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic. Key achievements included:• Successfully managed a project portfolio with circa €1 million annual budget, achieving financial and non-financial targets consistently• Spearheaded integration of four new programme areas, sustaining national and transnational collaboration support plan while navigating the uncertainty of Brexit.• Implemented financial management reforms that enhanced transparency and audit results.• Developed and led a diverse team, coaching through apprenticeship to achieving qualifications and progression.• Grant lifecycle coordination alongside government stakeholders, reference groups and delivery partners, designing processes, building capacity support structures, ensuring application targets met and compliance within strict timescales.• Evaluated applications, chaired funding committees, monitored compliance and quality, delivering events to ensure effective fund distribution and impact.
