The fast expanding growth in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY in the early 80's brought with it growing pains. As the diverse population grew out of its boundaries into neighboring Communities the need for Healthcare services became very apparent. Being that housing was the main focus Healthcare services provisions grew more underserved . The Community residents started traveling over the bridges to other boros for lack of services within.Came OUTREACH HEALTHCARE to the rescue. Sara petitioned the state and local leaders to assist her in building Health related infrastructure. Where there was none suddenly the services started appearing. Sara was instrumental in creating latch key operations for Physicians to be able to service the underserved. From medical clinics , therapy services and programs for Patients and the population at large Sara has been relentless in getting the ratio of Community growth to fit the Healthcare needs it so needs. She fills the gaps of underserved need and creates the services where there is a Void.Sara does not let any stumbling blocks be a deterrent in bringing the much needed services to Communities of need!!Where there is a need Sara will find a way to solve and connect!!
