With over 10 years of experience in nonprofit sports organizations, I am currently the Senior Director of Community Events & Engagement at San Antonio Sports, where I lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of various sports events and initiatives that promote health, fitness, and education for the youth and the community.I have a Bachelor of Science in Fitness, Recreation and Sport Management from Hardin-Simmons University, and I am passionate about sports and its positive impact on people's lives. I have developed and implemented multiple successful programs, such as the Fit Family Challenge, i play! afterschool program, and ACTIVATE that have reached thousands of participants, increased physical activity levels, improved academic performance, and fostered social and emotional skills among the youth and families. I have also managed and coordinated large-scale events, such as the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame Tribute Gala that have raised funds, awareness, and engagement for the organization and its mission. I am skilled in event management, project management, event planning, and sport management, and I enjoy working with a diverse and dynamic team of staff, volunteers, partners, and sponsors. My goal is to continue to create and deliver high-quality and impactful sports programs and events that inspire, empower, and transform the youth and the community.
