I define myself as a woman, a mother of 2 beautiful kids and someone that happens to be an Agile Coach working at IT companies for more than 10 years.I actually began my journey as a Social Worker, specialised in Gerontology (scientific area that studies the aging process) and worked in diverse social areas/problematics (handicapped people, children, elder people, homeless and addictions). But this was not fulfilling me professionally and I had the "tech bug" on me, so close to my 30s I decided to go back to the university and take the degree on Informatics Engineering.I have been in this ares for more than 10 years now and have experience in several roles and companies and I definitely can say that this is were I belong.I'm an Agile Coach for more than 7 years now, supporting companies on their Agile Transformation, helping them build great products and deliver value to their customers/users.Along the way, I decided to invest some of my time on supporting and empowering other women on this Tech area, so I've been collaborating with Geek Girls Portugal community, since 2016.
