Greetings and welcome to my profile dear reader. Allow me to introduce myself.When I think of the best way to define me, I think of determination, creativity and adventure!Where all these qualities come from, you may wonder... let me explain.An important event in my life was at the age of 15 when I embarked on a 6 month student exchange programme in Georgia, USA. Although it was challenging, as I boarded in this experience with broken English, it was also fun, rewarding and I felt truly satisfied and proud when achieving my goals which included a deeper knowledge of the English language.After working in Milan as an Event Organiser for Teatro Guanella, my instinct drew me towards the West End in London, where I moved into in 2010.Working for the hotel industry meant deeply learning about interpersonal skills, dealing with guests and looking after them at the highest levels, organisation skills, productivity as well as personal and team leadership. Being a Night Duty Manager meant that I had to take full operational responsibility for the whole hotel, it also meant that I had to learn to deal with pressurised situations and stressful environments.I then decided to widen my experience and I started to support UBS bank on behalf of Portico working as a corporate receptionist where the highest levels of customer interaction is required. I also got involved in extra curricular projects and supported the Learning and Development Manager with PA duties for the department.My adventure at UBS continued as I accepted a Team Assistant role with the Wealth Management team. My new position taught me the highest level of precision, time management, attention to detail, and of course confidentiality.I soon expanded my knowledge at UBS as I was asked to take on the role of EA for “the boss” and gathered experience in diary management, international travel, marketing events coordination and all the ad-hoc extra miles that I was happy to go to.But my adventures did not come to an end. So after a lot of thoughts my family and I decided to pack up all of our London experience and move to Italy for a big change of lifestyle.I then discovered my new passion: teaching! So I started working for English Lab Language School and it has been amazing ever since.
