About Sara Vigna
I have a passion for public service which began for me at a young age. Throughout my undergrad career I had experiences working with children ages 3 and up who were diagnosed with a mental illness to older adults diagnosed with dementia. My undergraduate internship was working with a non- profit organization working with families of murder victims. Those moments taught me how to effectively conduct behavioral observation skills and how to provide clear communication to others. In 2016 I returned to school to receive my Masters of Occupational Therapy. I gained clinical experience shadowing a licensed Occupational Therapists as well as independently evaluated and treated patients. During this time I was able to build my interpersonal skills. I am looking for an occupational therapist position where I can expand on what I have already learned. I am dedicated to assist my patients to reach their full potential and achieving quality outcomes with the use of a therapeutic approach.
