I worked within the School of Food Science and Nutrition supporting their research laboratories. My main role was to manage the chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments (HPLC, HPAEC-PAD, LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS). I have experience with Agilent, Shimadzu, Thermo Scientific and Waters instruments. I worked on my own project, based around new microsampling techniques in pre-clinical in vivo testing to refine the sampling technique and reduce the number of rodents used in toxicology studies.
