I joined the OSKA team back in August 2018 as I felt I could really add something to the team with my passion for customer care. My background is varied but all roles into one to provide an outstanding service and one to one help for customers, homes and hospices. My roles have consisted of account management, customer service and a dog handler/animal care assistant for the RSPCA! Working in these roles has put me on the front line and I can relate to nurses and care professionals when issues are reported, and questions are put forward. For me it was OSKA’s core values that drew me to join the team. This has provided me the base to build the servicing department and ensure customers are cared for and looked after. After joining the team, I have learnt a huge amount on the products that OSKA provide and why they are so important. ‘Prevention is better then a cure’ is a very important statement. The products themselves are designed to prevent pressure ulcers but also designed for comfort which is incredibly important. The aftercare and servicing is just as important and this is where I come in. My aim is to deal with customer queries quickly and efficiently to ensure the best result for the home, hospice or hospital. It’s also to give advice to ensure equipment etc is fixed and serviced quickly and to a high standard.

As an account manager I ensure each customer receives a bespoke service. Aerial is a telecoms company and I look after business customer accounts who have 1-4 mobile connections. As Aerial is a direct partner of O2, a high quality service is provided to ensure each customer has a smooth running business. I pride myself in looking after each account to ensure maximum efficiency for each business.

This was a temporary role where I inputted vouchers and showed school groups around the aquarium.

Here I looked after a team of receptionists to ensure the smooth running of the surgery. On a daily basis my job entailed making appointments and speaking with customers. I also dealt with insurance claims and administration for the surgery.

In this role I cared for cats, dogs and other small animals. Often these animals were bought in from inspectors and welfare officers. Daily, animals would be cleaned, medicated, feed, trained and walked/cared for. But the most rewarding part of my job was rehoming animals.
