Groundwork Hudson Valley creates sustainable environmental change in urban neighborhoods though community-based partnerships that promote equity, youth leadership and economic opportunity. Our programs cover three areas, Youth Development, Rivers and Trails (transforming public spaces) and Sustainability Education through our Science Barge and Eco House. I work with Corporate Sponsors, Individual donors and Grants and Foundations.

Directed and managed all aspects of a non profit organization with over 40 chapters in three countries leading a team of over 400+ volunteers in fundraising and awareness in order to provide grant funding to send men and women with eating disorders to treatment to recover. Accountable for the establishment and development of strategic planning, vision, fundraising, management of volunteers and employees, strategic partnership development, finances, Board development and governance. Project HEAL: Help to Eat, Accept and Live is a 501(c) not-for-profit organization in the United States and a federal not-for-profit organization under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (NFP Act). We provide grant funding for people with eating disorders who cannot afford treatment, promote healthy body image and self esteem, and serve as a testament that full recovery from an eating disorder is possible. Rutherford Learning Educational Advancement Program was created to provide public school students in Rutherford County (TN) with the ability to become technologically advanced learners via the innovative use of a one to one laptop program enabling them to "leap" forward into the 21st century with excellent computer skills for use in business or secondary education upon graduating high school. By raising funds to purchase laptops/netbooks for the Rutherford County schools, the students gained the knowledge of computer literacy skills they will need to succeed in the future.The organization provided over 250 students and their families over a three year period (reaching over 1,000 people) with netbooks to use as a supplemental learning tool and expanded their educational experience into the sphere of technical learning and into the global arena.The organization was officially closed in April 2013
