About Sara Agah Franti

As the co-owner of Soulshine Sound + Wellness Resort, I combine my passion for music, health, and healing to create a unique and transformative experience for guests. I also founded and lead Do It For The Love, a nonprofit organization that grants live concert wishes to people living with life-threatening illnesses, severe challenges, or wounded veterans. With over 10 years of nonprofit leadership and public health expertise, I aim to inspire and empower others to live with purpose and joy.My professional journey started as a registered nurse in emergency rooms across the world, where I witnessed the power of music and compassion to bring families together during their times of greatest need. This motivated me to launch Do It For The Love with my husband, musician Michael Franti, in 2013. Since then, we have sent more than 12,000 people to live concert experiences in North America. In 2020 I became the CEO of Soulshine Resort and helped double the size of the company. My mantra is "Be your best. Serve the greater good. Rock out wherever you are!"
