I am an environmental economist and I have worked on topics related to air quality, climate change, land use, transportation, waste management, water, biodiversity conservation, land use, among others. I have taught in private and public universities in Mexico and the USA. The research teams I led have been involved in different stages of policy implementation of economic instruments oriented to energy efficiency and biodiversity conservation. I have published several articles on the topics of environmental taxes, conservation of vaquita marina, globalization, and emissions, and incentives to promote the use of bike to commute.
