Her creativity and strong desire to learn led to her redesign of the ALERT newsletter template in the course of what was already a busy year. Finally, Sara took on the challenge this past year of managing the front office administration for the Center which also involved hiring, training and supervising a staff member and work-study and other student employees. Sara was very conscientious and thorough in gaining an understanding of NU hiring processes and sought multiple opportunities to learn about management, mentorship and administration best practices. She consistently ensured a smooth and effective administrative support function for the Center faculty, staff and students while providing mentorship and guidance as needed.
