In my current role, I am responsible for working with incarcerated writers and conducting independent research to create long and short-form web content accessible to advocacy partners and the general public. Working with Editorial Staff and Interns, I advise on the best ways to adapt this content to increase readership and fundraising opportunities through grant writing and small donor engagement. Additionally, I act as the manager for Solitary Watch's Photo Requests From Solitary project which seeks to connect incarcerated people with artists to fulfill requests for images from the outside.

As the Editorial and Project Assistant at Solitary Watch, I supported the Executive Director through the transition to a new fiscal sponsor following unexpected changes in leadership and staffing. In addition to assisting with daily administrative tasks, I executed an internal audit of several years of credit card expenses. Beyond my administrative duties, I managed large donor and reader databases as well as correspondence with incarcerated writers interested in submitting personal essays for our series "Voices from Solitary."

Additionally, I was placed in charge of using STATA and R to create animated and interactive maps that visualized the relationships between key variables.
