It all started with the design and renovation of the Joshua Tree House in May 2015. I designed this space alongside Rich Combs as a place for people to reflect, reset, and create in the Mojave Desert. We expanded to become a lifestyle brand, and created new spaces for those interested experiencing a slow and deliberate desert lifestyle for themselves. We opened the Casita in August of 2016 for stays, and the Hacienda in July of 2017 for photoshoots. • Featured by Instagram, Airbnb, Apartment Therapy, Domino Mag, Urban Outfitters, AFAR, Gal Meets Glam, Refinery 29, Forbes, Vogue, Lonny Mag, 7x7, San Francisco Chronicle, Goop, Architectural Digest, Locale Magazine, and more. • Collaborated with many talented designers and brands such as Casper, Bose, Soukie Modern, Fire on the Mesa, Samsung, Article, FireClay Tile, Tribe & True, Macy's, and many more.• Host an annual Artist residency (previous artists in residence include: Heather Day, Aleksandra Zee, and Stella Maria Baer)• Designed and renovated The Assembly in the San Francisco Mission District as an extension of the Joshua Tree House aesthetic and lifestyle into the city environment. The space itself is a 1905 church converted into a clubhouse, designed for the way women work(out).
