Recruited, trained and maintained the organization’s volunteer base, which included staffing the 24-hour crisis hotline. Revised the training curriculum to be LGBTQ+ inclusive and pushed the organization to develop policies for helping LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Conducted intakes and made resource referrals for domestic and sexual violence victims. Accompanied survivors to court for legal hearings.
