Sara Barker is an executive leader with expertise in shared services operations, supply chain, program and project management, and business process standardization developed over 20 years in leadership positions in healthcare, transportation and higher education organizations across North America. Sara is passionate about making the complex simple and developing high performing teams by building trust and transparency. She currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Support Services for Medxcel, leading the supply chain, compliance and program and project management service lines. Launched in 2013, Medxcel integrates healthcare facilities services. From planning and design to facilities maintenance and energy management, Medxcel is dedicated to improving the overall healing environment. Our integrated customer delivery model drives standardization, cost containment and quality improvement in healthcare organizations across the U.S.Sara joined Medxcel in 2015, serving first as Strategic Sourcing Manager, and then as Director Supply Chain where she guided the growth platforms and processes for sourcing, procurement, logistics, contract administration, risk mitigation and vendor service management.In 2023, Sara was named to Indiana's Top 50 Women Leaders by Women We Admire.
