I’m happy to start a new position in Human Resources in a very competitive industry, as it is the mining, tunneling and civil construction industry. I’m very excited and ready for this new challenge. Several years of experience in a similar role have prepared me for this. I can’t wait to see what new skills I’ll learn and what great experiences I will have in the near future!A little about my personal background:I’m married and I have two wonderful children that are my pride and joy! My Alma Mater is Weber State University, a great institution which I love and I feel very proud of being a graduate from their Goddard School of Bussiness and Economics.Utah has been my home for half of life now, having moved from Guatemala when I was still a teenager. This experience has enriched my cultural sensitivity and taught me to love and accept others as they are. I have great respect and deep love for Utahns and I consider myself one of them. I am also very proud of my roots and love the new diversity our state has to offer. Especially, the amazing entrepreneurial spirit of people from different backgrounds that come to our state to make it their home and help it grow.Moreover, I love and enjoy being an active member of our community by volunteering for several causes such as fighting hunger with local food banks, helping animals in local shelters, and mentoring children and youth.
