Working closely with the CEO and COO to lead the development and implementation of organization wide projects and change management initiatives. Projects included:- Creating and implementing a new governance structure- Transition to a new business model to align resource development to an impact model-Amalgamation of 4 United Ways to provide long term viability and increase service delivery -Annual development and oversight of the strategic and corporate plan-Annual board retreats-Development and implementation of internal communications framework -Implementation of CRM into the culture and business systems- Developed and managed a volunteer framework to increase capacity to leverage volunteer resources, securing over $800,000 in volunteer human resources-Staff support to the board, governance and corporate oversight committee

Working with the CEO to lead the strategic direction of the organization's development and implementation of a volunteer engagement initiative.

Reporting to the VP, Communications and Marketing and working closely with the CEO, led a team that was responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of programs and events that were designed to engage donors, volunteers, stakeholders and media in the work of United Way Ottawa and to position the organization as a thought leader in the sector. Rebranded all engagement programs including Kindness week, Community Builder Awards and Community Action Days to better reflect the brand and increase engagement. Developed new creative concepts like the RED series and Schmoozefest to engage new audiences and increase brand awareness.
