Collaborated with special and general education teachers to provide hands-on instruction to students in an integrated setting for social studies and science. Kindergarten, Leo Bernabi Elementary SchoolProvided one-on-one support to a diverse student population during literacy and math centers,adapting to a variety of ability levels and emotional needs. Guided four groups of 18 students in a STEM activity which made use of Smart Board technology and was designed to introduce how graphs are created and used as sources of data. Chaperoned a walking field trip to a local fire hall.

Pre-Kindergarten, East Rochester Elementary SchoolProvided scaffolded assistance to a student practicing fine motor coordination, resulting in himbeing able to write his first name independently and legibly. Directed themed learning centers where students practiced letter recognition and naming, counting, categorizing, and fine motor skills. Assisted in ensuring safety and cooperation of students during planned and unexpected fire drills.

Nazareth College

Provided assistance and support to a 20-year-old male student through a unique program that offers age-appropriate learning opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities. Assisted student with class assignments and helped him foster communication between himself and his professor.
