Handles majority of ATG’s employee relation issues. Manages the majority of the employee relations issues throughout ATG, works with management on personnel counseling and Performance Improvement Plans, works with Executive Team to complete Succession Planning grids, manages corporate recruiting functions throughout the company including contractor staffing, creates yearly corporate training plans and implements as necessary, oversees the LMS system, negotiates contracts with outside vendors as it relates to recruiting and contract staffing, manages requests for promotions/market adjustments/increases and usescompensation data, recommends/discusses with VPHR Associate Manual and Guide with updated information as it pertains to state laws, maintains current position descriptions and continually evaluates content for accuracy, researches and stays current with employment law for all states, conducts new hire training, oversees all testing for The Institutes as well as teaches SM18 and SM19 classes annually, assists in conducting exit interviews when necessary, responsible for SOX Narrative and assists in audit process, oversees special events and recognition programs set forth by Corporate, assists in the merit and budget process for the company and manages internship program.

Responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing all of Meadowbrook’s Training and Recruiting plans. Responsible for management of the Corporate Trainer and Recruiting Specialist. Oversees the administration process and provides direction of all company training and recruiting functions, works with management on personnel counseling and Performance Improvement Plans, oversees staffing approval process with management, works with Legal department in creating responses to various agencies, performs bi-weekly payroll audit, manages contractor staffing throughout the company, negotiates contracts with outside vendors as it relates to recruiting, conducts investigations along with SVP-HR and Legal, responds to associate related issues and involves legal as necessary, assists with compilation of salary survey data, administrator for Ceridian HPL site, recommends/discusses with SVP-HR Associate Manual and Guide with updated information as it pertains to branch state laws, maintains current position descriptions and continually evaluates content for accuracy, researches and stays current with employment law for all branch states, creates content and provides training to current associates and management, manages internship program, conducts exit interviews, responsible for HR portion of SOX Narrative , oversees special events and recognition programs set forth by Corporate, assists in the annual recruitment and training budget process for the department, creates and conducts management training on various topics throughout the year, conduct California Management Training on Sexual Harassment when required by law, travel to other branch offices.

Responsible for all HR aspects of 5 branch offices in California and Nevada.Duties include posting positions on websites, conducting phone and in-person interviews, background checks, extending offers; new hire orientation, conducting required training classes (Ethics & Diversity/Ergonomics/Harassment/Computer Safety). Majority of workload is spent advising management in personnel policy and program matter and making or recommending appropriate decisions. Assisting management and employees in understanding and applying HR tools to maximize employee performance, achieve organizational effectiveness, improve employee engagement and ensure legal compliance. Also manage relationships with line managers to ensure timely and effective support is provided in all areas of HR and interacting with management and employee groups to resolve employee relation issues. Also conduct entire termination process including exit interviewing, creating employee recognition programs and other special HR projects as assigned (salary survey, benefits comparison, cost analysis, climate surveys). Travel 25% to other branch offices between California and Nevada on regular basis.

Greater Detroit Area

Responsible for 360 employee’s onsite at DaimlerChrysler Corporation, Ford Motor Company and other Tier 1 suppliers. Duties included conducting new hire orientations, completing 90 Day and Annual Performance Reviews, maintained current knowledge of employment laws and practices, performed counseling to employees and worked in conjunction with DaimlerChrysler Human Resources in regard to grievances and conflict resolution. Also career pathed current employees and conducted employee terminations. Additional tasks included payroll processing, benefits enrollment, recruiting and coordinating contractor recognition programs.
